REVIEW: Gorilla Grip NonStick Silicone PASTRY MAT 20×28 inch

If you bake or work with flour and dough a nonstick silicone pastry mat ( https://amzn.to/3LdUyVM ) will save you a lot of time in cleaning and makes working with dough much easier.

I got the Gorilla Grip NonStick Silicone PASTRY MAT ( https://amzn.to/36FBwII ) as I started to bake and work with dough more in the kitchen. I chose a 20×28 inch pastry mat for the coverage and work space on my kitchen table. I also picked the orange color for visibility of the numbering and grid and measurements. There are many colors available.

very useful grid and measurements
heavy duty mat
nonstick is very easy to clean or wipe clean
slip resistant
makes the cleaning after pastry work very easy.

CONS:
It can be rolled for storage
Can not use as baking sheet.

Overall Gorilla Grip NonStick Silicone pastry mat ( https://amzn.to/36FBwII ) is AWESOME mat to work with dough. Its NOT for cooking. It just a great non-stick mat that you can work pastries and dough on. I got one large enough for the portion of my kitchen table. the larger work area the easier it is to work the dough. It cleans very easy as nothing sticks to it. It can be washed by hand or the dish washer. It can be rolled or folded for storage.

REVIEW: Smart Tail Light for Bicycles – Add auto sensing BRAKE LIGHTS to bicycles!

I wanted to get an new bicycle tail light and found this Smart Bike Tail light ( https://amzn.to/3vrvtjs ) that automatically senses bike braking. Another bonus is that it is bright, powered by lithium battery and USB rechargeable!

The Smart Bike Tail light ( https://amzn.to/3vrvtjs ) has four light modes (slow flash, breathe, fast flashing, and on) and a power save mode if no movement is detected. It also has a built in light sensor. The light modes provide good lighting, and the brake light is very bright. The brake light activates when the unit is tilted forward, as if the bicycle is experiencing a hard breaking motion.

The Smart Bike Tail light ( https://amzn.to/3vrvtjs ) unit is water resistant and has a micro USB charge port on the back side. The two mounting options is either on the saddle rails or on the seat post. The saddle rails use the provided zip ties to mount, so if you have a under seat pack, you may want to mount it to the seat post mount. The seat post mount uses silicone bands strap it to the post. It comes with two band lengths for different diameter tubes. The light itself locks in place with a turn. I would add some electric tape to prevent it from loosening and falling off.

Overall, I like the Smart Bike Tail light ( https://amzn.to/3vrvtjs ) braking concept, usb charging, and simple mounting options. I worry that the unit may loosen and unscrew off.

REVIEW: DRIVE Medical Knurled Chrome Grab Bar for Showers and Bathrooms

I got a Medical Knurled Chrome Grab Bar ( https://amzn.to/3xA2jS0 ) for my retired parents and grandma. It was a permanent solution that mounts to wall studs of their tiled shower stall. We had to use a stud finder, mason drill bit, power drill, and silicone sealant to mount this grab bar.

For a temporary solution, they have been using CAREX Ultra Grip Suction Shower Handle ( https://amzn.to/3F9nSsr
) for my grandma. It does not need any tools to install or use. From the packaging and warning labels, it looks like you are not suppose to put full body wait on this grip, its more for maintaining balance.

Overall they love the stability of having a metal grab bar to lower the chances of slipping in the bath tube and shower. Medical Knurled Chrome Grab Bar ( https://amzn.to/3xA2jS0 ) comes in many sizes 32 in, 24 in, 18in, and other lengths. you should follow the installation instructions or have a professional install it for you as you need to mount the bar to the studs of the wall for maximum strength.
