I bought a large box of water soluble fertilizer on sale ( https://amzn.to/2KPlD2e ) and I use it ever week to fertilize my outdoor plants. I normally have a 5 gallon bucket ( https://amzn.to/2tWIzGe ) to save about 1 gallon of water every day. This gallon of water comes from my shower warming up until the water is hot for bathing. In 5 days, I accumulate about 5 gallons of clean water.
I follow the directions on the box for outdoor plants and add a few tablespoons of fertilizer to the 5 gallon bucket of water. Its good to keep the warm up water rather than waste it in the drain.
