Costco has the FEIT LED Semi / Flush Mount Ceiling Fixture for $39!!! There are more elaborate semi flush mount ceiling fixtures online for $50 -$100: https://amzn.to/2FJpXzA . The ability to either mount it flush to the ceiling or a few inches off the ceiling, gives it visual space an makes the fixture look more elegant. The LED fixture only uses 42 watts of energy and has an output of 2000 lumens of soft white light.
