DIY: TPMS Resetting after tire rotation GM / Chevy. 2017 Chevy Volt

So i have been driving around with my tires not matching their actual position. I read the Chevy Volt Manual and the procedures are there. But its so simple. you need a TPMS reset tool: http://amzn.to/2xQ77TT

The VXDAX El-50448 OEC-T5 tool needs a 9v battery
Its about $25-$35 online.

Goto the tire pressure menu and press and hold the “Select” button for 10 seconds unit it says Tire Pressure Reset. Then you have about 60 seconds to place the OEC-T5 next to the tire stem and press the button on the device. Start with the Driver front, Passenger front, Passenger rear , then the Driver rear.

The chevy will honk after each tire is registered. After its all done the tire pressure menu will reflect the new PSI ratings. For mine it rotated around to the front to the back.
If you missed the timing and needed to reset again, you need to turn the car off to get back to the tire pressure menu and try again.

2017 Chevy Volt Vlog #55: DIY Engine Air Filter Service

Ok its 30k miles on my 2017 Chevy Volt and i wanted to check my engine air filter (ACDelco A3217C Air Filter: http://amzn.to/2g6Szcq) . On the gas engine i have put about 15k miles. According to the manual, the engine air filter is replaced under normal or severe conditions at 45k miles. Mine had very LITTLE wear and dirt. I think it will last much longer for Volt drivers who dont use their engine to commute.
