This is a power station that is running on sealed lead acid (SLA) cell batteries with a 1440 W inverter. It’s called a “gasless generator”, as it can be run without the NOISE, exhaust, fumes of a traditional gas generator. It is safe to run indoors. Perfect for emergency power outages.

It has versatile charging options, as it can be charged with 110V AC, 12V car battery, or solar with the built in solar charge controller. For outputs it has two USB 3.1A outputs, 4 AC outputs, a 12 volt car plug out put. Pretty simple and straight forward. Due to the SLA batteries, makes this unit is larger and heavier than a comparable lithium ion battery version.

This is a good solution for camping off grid, backup emergency power, or for solar projects. I only saw it at one Costco so this item may be rare or difficult to find. I bought larger Duracell Inverter for emergencies and did a unboxing here: https://youtu.be/KYfHFFUEZz4
I just hook it to my car’s 12 volt.

Costco has a new Type S 12v Jump Starter for $49 (on sale, normally $59). Its also a 8,000 mAh Power Bank with USB C and USB A connections for 2.4A charging. There are other 12v jump starters and larger power bank combos online: https://amzn.to/2JlQ44d .

I bought this Type S Jump Starter to replace my 2016 WinPlus Jumpstarter was starting to lose charge. I guess the lifespan for these are about 4 years for replacement. At $49 it was a good deal and my 2016 version saved me several times during various roadtrips and at work when a co-worker needed a jump.

The new features of this 2020 Type S 12 volt jump starter was the IP64 water resistance, the digital display instructions on the side of the device, and the USB C (input and output) which is my typical standard charging plug for most of my devices. It does come with a 12v USB car charger and a micro USB charge cable. The USB fast charging at 2.4a is a good feature. The primary use of this will still be as a car jumper, as travel a lot on the road during the weekend and for road trips.

Per the instructions, it needs to be over 50% charged in order to jump a car and it needs to be charged every 2-3 months to keep the battery life. So I the unit was made in June 2020 (100%) and now its October 2020 with 60% charge, so it basically lost 10% a month or perhaps it was only 80% charged after being built. Any ways, I normally charge every 1-2 month so this should last me another 4 years.

This is a quick DIY video on How to Replace 2018, 2019, 2020+ TOYOTA RAV4 – Engine Air Filter. I replace mine every 25,000 to 30,000 miles, or if its really dusty and dirty, or after 2 years.

Its super easy and takes only a few minutes but it can help improve the RAV 4 MPG and the engine’s life. I usually just buy a Toyota RAV4 engine air filter ( https://amzn.to/35zry70 ) from online or with a local Toyota dealership for under $20 or so.

My neighbor brought her 2019 Toyota Rav4 to replace her engine air filter. It only took 5 minutes to replace. There are two silver clips in the holding the air box cover. There are 2 harness clips that needs to be moved away as well.
