Costco! Mason Pearson Hair Brush! $109!!! Is this a good gift?

This is a really pricey hair brush that looks like it was packed in the turn of the century.  Has anyone bought this?  Is this a good gift to surprise your  girl friend with? Costco! Hansgrohe Croma Select Shower Combo! $160! Is it any good?

Saw this at Costco and want to update my bathroom, has anyone tried this yet?  I looks great and it costs $250 or more on Amazon https://amzn.to/2rCez0B   .  Looks simple to install.
