HOME DEPOT – SUPER DEAL – Ryobi 18V ONE+ 4 Ah Battery 2-Pack Starter Kit $99 w/ Free $79 tool

I was at HOME DEPOT and saw this awesome RYOBI DEAL – Ryobi 18V ONE+ 4 Ah Battery 2-Pack Starter Kit $99 w/ Free $79 tool. Normally a Ryobi 18V ONE+ 4 Ah Battery ( https://amzn.to/2BkSqMB ) single battery costs $99. As a starter kit for a 4 Ah with a bag is closer to $149 value. These batteries fit over 125 different Ryobi 18v power tools: ( https://amzn.to/2Y8MG1z ). Home Depot online had more deals, but was sold out when i checked! Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

Some of the tools worth more than $79 was also included! I got my self a Ryobi 18v angle driver (https://amzn.to/2AEk3R8 ) valued at $89. I wanted the new Ryobi portable power washer that was sold out. I already bought a Ryobi combo kit (https://amzn.to/3hD4cTg ) years ago and just needed more batteries.

Costco FEIT Rechargeable LED Pivot Head Flashlight + Head Lamp Bundle $29

Costco FEIT Rechargeable LED Pivot Head Flashlight and Head Lamp Bundle for $29. There are other powerful rechargeable LED pivot flashlights ( https://amzn.to/2Cff5KY ) and powerful 1000 lumen headlamps ( https://amzn.to/3hxrxWt ) online. This bundle comes with 2 pivot head 500 / 250 lumen flashlights with clips and magnetic base and a really powerful 1000 / 500 /250 lumen head lamp with different color modes. Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

This flashlights come with clips making it convenient to clip it to a jacket or cap and the pivot head with magnetic base can be used on metal surfaces and angled pretty practical for preparing you bag for hiking, camping, road side automotive kit, or for the tool box. I prefer head lamps to free up my hand when working.

It uses Micro USB to charge the battery. While i like rechargeable flash lights, i would have preferred if it was USB C as in my previous video i have move to standardize all my devices to USB C. I got a RovyVon ( https://amzn.to/33lFyzM ). The first one is the RovyVon Aura A23 about $49 ( https://amzn.to/38WnkpQ ) which is less than 3 inches and outputs 1000 lumens of light from powerful Cree LED. The second one is the tiny RovyVon A3 about $29( https://amzn.to/2U8J3W7 ).

Why switch to rechargeable USB?
Similar to the XiaoMi 1000 Lumen LED flashlight ( https://amzn.to/2D1FBVj ) i reviewed earlier ( https://youtu.be/DNApf8x-x24 ), I wanted to make a move to have all my devices and flashlights go towards a USB rechargeable platform. Its so that i can carry one primary power supply or wall charger and not have to worry about battery form factor. For example: if my 5.11 LED EDC pen light ( https://amzn.to/2TSyojx ) which i carry runs out of power, I will need a new AAA alkaline dry cell to replace it. If my RovyVon A23 flash light runs out of power, i just need to plug it into my 26,800 power bank ( https://amzn.to/38SMh5B ) to still have continuous light. Great for camping and emergency preparedness.

How to use SMALL DRILL BITS on a DRILL Chucks

If you need to use a small drill bit on a regular drill chuck to drill pilot holes, you will notice the new chucks have gaps. I love my Ryobi 18v power drill which i bought from a kit (https://amzn.to/30quh1O ) it has a newer chuck that has teeth to hold round drill bits better, however the gap too big for small drill bits such as 1/16 and 3/64 bits from my bit set ( https://amzn.to/3hc9Ziz ). I like staying on one platform of tools to share the family of Ryobi 18v battery ( https://amzn.to/3cPX0zM ). Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

For years I have used Aluminum Tape ( https://amzn.to/2Yl5Xvv ) to use smaller bits. I basically cut a 1.5 centimetre 4 inch strip. I wrap the tape around the bit. I then use the drill chuck to compress the aluminum tape for a strong grip. After adding the tape, it will stay on the drill bit for the life of the bit. Usually they kits come with multiple small bits as they are meant for pilot holes and drilling delicate materials.

They do sell Small Drill Bit Chuck adapters ( https://amzn.to/30o0DdH ) that work if you plan to keep your drill bits original. They are delicate and solves this problem as normal small drill bits are not meant to be drilled with a lot of pressure or force.
