I have owned many LED flashlights with C-sized batteries and found them very useful when working on longer projects due to the longer working light time. This one can run for 35 hours on low level light at 200 lumens. Its good to keep one in the car, and in the back pack in case you need to work at night or if the power goes out. If they were individually packed it would make excellent Christmas gifts or part of a gift basket of useful tools!
