Honda Clarity Vlog 01: DIY Cork Center Console Mat – No more sliding cell phone!

I bought my 2018 Honda Clarity and love the car. I will start making more videos about the modifications and changes to my Honda Clarity as I take her on roadtrips, to work, and for fun!  I will post both good and bad aspects about the Honda Clarity as I grow with my new travel companion!

For this video, this is a fix for the center console. One of the dislikes was the center console bin. It was missing a mat.  They sell an official Honda rubber mat for about $20-$30 ( https://amzn.to/2DVlKs0 ).

Having a mat solves some issues with the center console:
1. Keeps my cell phone from sliding around.
2.  Eliminate the cheap plastic hollow sound.
3.  Cork is natural and gives it a good contrast.
4. Add visibility  so I don’t forget my cell phone when I leave the car.

However, prefer to DIY it and got craft cork board sheet from a local craft shop All you need is a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet. You can get cork sheets online ( https://amzn.to/2GbQQ16 ) and have enough for other projects.  I got cork board without adhesive.  I used a  8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper to make a trace.

After making the trace, I placed the paper on the cork sheet and made the cut out.  I added transparent Plastic Dip spray ( https://amzn.to/2MNGjJI ) to seal and rubberize the cork. You can also use hair spray or art fixative.  Otherwise the cork will will be brittle and break apart.  After spraying Plastic Dip, I let it air out for a few days to remove odor.

Air Fryer Fun+Tasty #10: Perfect Frozen Pizza in 6 mins! (Arugula Smoked Salmon)

Air Fryer Fun+Tasty #10: Perfect (Frozen) Pizza in 6 mins!
My girlfriend and I started cooking with the Gourmia Digital Air Fryer 6 QT we got from Costco. There are other 6 quart air fryers onsale online: https://amzn.to/2UfyOig .  

Today we tried making a whole frozen 8 inch frozen pizza in our air fryer.  The pizza came out perfect in just 5 minutes!  We added another minute to heat up some Smoked Salmon to put on top to make it super gourmet!  So it’s actually Salmon Arugula Cheese Pizza!   We had to preheat the oven for about 3 minutes.

We got our frozen Arugula Cheese Pizza and some smoked salmon from the supermarket ( Wholefoods) .   They sell different varieties of smoked salmon ( https://amzn.to/2MQS16x ) and frozen pizza (https://amzn.to/2tfFKQd )online too if you want them delivered.  We also used a 8 inch air fryer rack ( https://amzn.to/2t8Rd3I ) to put the pizza on top of to get air flow around the top and bottom of the pizza.

You will need the following along with your 6 Qt Air Fryer:
– 8 inch air fryer / steamer rack ( https://amzn.to/2t8Rd3I )
– Silicone Kitchen Tongs ( https://amzn.to/2BIpz1z )

Quick Instructions:

Perfect (Arugula / Smoked Salmon) Pizza in 6 mins !

1. Pre heat air fryer for 400 degrees.
2. Take out frozen pizza and remove packaging.
3. Put 8 inch circular rack in air fryer.
4. Place frozen pizza on rack. Cook for 5 minutes at 400 degrees
5. Take smoke salmon out and cut into small morsels.
6. After 5 minutes, add smoked salmon toppings and put back in to air fryer for 1 minute at 300 degrees to warm the toppings.
7. Plate and serve.  ( or just eat over the kitchen sink like how we did. )
8.  Clean air fryer with dish soap and sponge. Rinse and dry.

It was simple to prepare fast frozen food with an air fryer.  Perfect for small families or snacking. No hot oil splatters or burns from cooking in a pan or wok.  Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more Air Fryer Fun + Tasty episodes.
