How To Fix: Carousel 1985 Gumball Machine Coin Drive (TAKE APART!)

This is a 1985 carousel gumball machine I found this at a thrift shop. They sell these online: https://amzn.to/2L1x87L  and make perfect gifts!

I bought it and I want to see if I was any good it looks like everything was intact and you know we’ll go ahead take it apart and take a look at what’s inside and clean up and put some candy in there and see how much it can fill.

Recently, it broke were the brass tongue that locked out the turning mechanism was malfunctioning because a friend probably tried to force the knob and bent it.

This video takes apart the spring and coin drive unit to fix the bent tongue.
