I have been busy with work and have finally had time to type a few quite notes on my commuting. With the gas prices hitting 4 dollars a gallon in Socal. I fill up at the local Costco Wholesale Gas station where the cost is usually 10 cents cheaper than the outside local pumps.  I have calculated that my drive costs me about $16 a day to drive to work and back. Interestingly, my car has been getting only 23 miles to the gallon, which is odd since there has been less cars on the freeway since the price went up. I still cringe at $50 a fill up.

Well its been commuting and more commuting.  I have joined a carpool at my work place in Long Beach California.  After clocking about 450 miles a week, and using about 3 gallons of gas in one day, about 60 gallons of gas a month.
