Scootors and other ways of travel.

With gas at $4.60, it pays to hyper mileage, carpool, and use public transportation. As I have wrote before i carpool with 3 other coworkers and drive about once a month. The gas usage still hits my wallet at about 4 gallons a day during the week which i drive and 1 gallon for the week i just need to drive to my carpool meetup locaton.  However, i have been considering other forms of transportation Read more...

including motorcycles, scooters, and ev machines such as the Aptera (www.aptera.com), or even buying a sub compat small car like the Yaris or Ford Focus which has MPG rates of over 36 MPG.  I have test drove my friends scooter which goes 60 - 70 MPG, it was fun as communtiing vehicle and was "breezy" as there was no enclosure. The electric ev soccoters are zippy and slient compared to the gas powered versions.
